Ministries

St Johns Park Baptist Church is a covenanted community of saints, who believe that union with Christ is also visibly manifested by close communion with his body.

As such, SJPBC runs a variety of ministries that not only seek to cultivate a closer walk between believers, but also to help believers grow in their faith, and to go forth into this world with the gospel.

Regular Ministries

As regular ministries of the church, we run the following ministries:

• Home Groups (Weekly evening studies which generally meet in a home that go through either a book of the Bible or a theological book, often alternating between the two.)
• Ladies Bible Study (Wednesday morning studies during the day)
• ESL Classes (Held weekly on a Tuesday evening)
• Men’s Resolute (Bimonthly Men’s events, ran around breakfast and a talk or study.)
• SJPB Women’s Events (SJPB Women hold an annual retreat away, and an additional a one-day conference.)

Other Ministries

In addition to the above, we also run the following:

• School of Theology (Generally held twice a year, these classes seek to equip believers further in theological and practical matters.)
• Truth of the Gospel Conference (Held with our sister church, Southern Districts Reformed Baptist Church, this annual conference brings a speaker to speak on a helpful subject. Previous speakers have included Paul Washer, Joel Beeke, Conrad Mbewe, Iain Murray, and so forth.)
